ELV - End of Life Vehicles

In line with the environment agency's requirements we provide full recyclye facilitites for end of life vehicles.

As a registered ELV treatment site you can bring to us any commercial vehicle for recycling and we will deal with all aspects of the recycling of the vehicle. You will be issued with a 'Certificate of Destruction' and your vehicle will be recycled free-of-charge.

Depollution Procedure

1. When the vehicle is ready for dismantling all liquids hazardous to the environment are drained from the vehicle:- engine, transmission and hydraulic oils, brake fluids, engine coolants and windscreen washer solutions and stored in the correct bundled tanks.
2. The battery will be removed from the vehicle and checked for recycling or reselling before being stored in the battery tray.
3. The tyres will then be removed from the vehicle and checked for recycling or reselling.
4. All resellable parts are then removed from the vehicle and put into storage.
5. The vehicle's shell is then taken for recycling.
